Bambarakanda Falls

Bambarakanda Falls, at 263m the highest in Sri Lanka, is set within a basin-shaped valley bordered by enormous rocks and forests of pine. The waterfall plunges in two thin cascades down a vertical, dramatic and darkened precipice between the peaks of Welihena and Bambaragala into a deep pool.
